And everyone can choose to be happy

It was Valentine's Day yesterday.
And we celebrated her birthday on last Friday night.

It was supposed to be a season with love and happiness as Chinese New Year just is around the corner.

Things didn't work out to be well because of choices that we have made.

There were so much that we could speak but we didn't, and we made our own choices that we end up where we are now.

'How to go back to the past?' she asked.

I guess there is no need to go back to the past as the future might be something brighter than the previous picture if we are willing to work it out. It's never simple never easy. But timing plays its role too.

We all have pictures in mind that we always thought it is the truth. But what is the truth? Is your picture resembling what is really happening? Maybe it is a yes, based on only what see. At the same time, we never really able to define a person that we thought we knew until we try to understand things from his/her point of view.

'Don't judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes'.

While when we are not able to walk the path that she/he has walked through, we can always develop empathy. There is nothing wrong to express your own feelings. And it is always easily to be forgotten that we actually do not need to take things too personally where we allow ourselves to develop all sort of negativity from words spoken by others. Things can work two ways, and also have two sides, if we are willing to find it.

'Live without pretending,
Love without depending,
Listen without defending,
speak without offending.'
